Project: Port and Starboard propulsion units major overhaul in consultation with Class Surveyor. Omni directional units made by Voith Propeller diameter 1850m.

Scope of Works:

  • Propulsion unit seals changed, replacement of major shaft seals, main seals for leg swivel.

  • Inspection of rope guards and line cutters

  • Inspection of gearing and bearings

  • Renewal of propeller shaft seals and ceramic liners.

  • Overhaul and inspect pumps and clean strainers

  • Z-Peller leg oil change.

  • Z-Peller legs and line shafting for overhaul with seal replacements an bearing replacement.

  • Shaft Universal joint cross kits replaced.

  • Repair, tune & balance and report on Propellers.
