Final propulsion checks before launch.
RL Marine in conjunction with Rolls Royce service technician were engaged to:
Remove propellers and repair, balance and polish both propellers port and STB.
Drain /pump oil from both legs (approx. 2100ltr per side)
Replace propeller shaft seals and steering tube seals.
Inspect gears
Inspect intermediate gear couplings
Check gear backlash
Replace input shaft seal
Replace clutch slip ring, O-ring
Clean and regrease input shaft gear coupling
Clean and regrease line shaft bearings
Check steering gear and pinion drive for wear and report
Check/change/service clutch
